Just another day in paradise...

400 million people (equal to about 40% of india's total headcount) in the world constantly worry about how to secure their next meal, six lakh people have died in iraq because of imposed civil war and more continue to get killed each day, hundreds of thousands of young girls around the world are selling their souls just so that they and their families can have a dignified material survival......

Life for me? Oh well....as a famous singer once crooned.....its just another day in paradise......

Of The Diamond And The Stone...

The Diamond Lives a Very Eventful Life, Hidden In The Womb oF The Earth For The Long Initial Periods oF Its Life, It Gets Cooked Under Very High Tempretures and Pressures, Invisible, Inconspicuous. The Stone, Its Cousin, Meanwhile Lives an Enjoyable Life in The Comfortable Environs
of The Surface.Once Formed, The Diamond Comes To The Surface. Its Rise, Almost Meteoric,Like A Bullet.Till This Time No One Can Really Tell That It Is Anything Different From An Ordinary Stone. Then a Very Discerning Diamond Miner Sees Something That Only a Miner Could Have Seen. The Rest Becomes History. From Now oN The Diamond Will Shine and Be One oF The Most Valued Things Known To Mankind. The Stone Watches All This As It Waits To Degenerate To Dust. The Diamond Lives On And On.......
